The Board of the Foundation is formed from members appointed by NLR, DLR, and the German and Dutch governments. At the beginning of 2010, the Board consists of:

The Staff
At the beginning of 2010, the permanent staff of DNW totals 124 employees, 59 of them (including the Director) are seconded by DLR, 65 of them (including the Deputy Director) are seconded by NLR. Business Unit NOP/ASD has 91 employees and GUK 33. About two-thirds of the staff (82) are posted in the Netherlands and about one-third (42) in Germany.
