It gives us great pleasure to announce that Christophe Hermans took up his position as Deputy Director of DNW effective 01 April 2012 after the retirement of Cor Joosen. With the appointment of Christophe Hermans the Board of DNW has demonstrated its commitment to DNW and its expectations for DNW to maintain its global role as provider of strategic research infrastructure for aerodynamic testing in all domains.
Before joining the Management of DNW, Christophe was head of the NLR department Helicopters and Aeroacoustics, where he already had forged a close relationship with DNW enabling a smooth transition to his new position. DNW will benefit from the background, fresh perspective and new impulses that Christophe Hermans will bring with him to the job.
